  • ATTENDANCE

    Excused Absences Procedure

    At Fairfield Christian School, we understand that occasional absences may be unavoidable. To ensure the proper handling of absences, please follow these guidelines:


    1. Excusing Absences for Up to Three Days

    For absences lasting up to three days, a parent note or email must be submitted to the office upon the student's return. Please send the note or email to Ms. Machaira, our attendance coordinator.


    2. Excusing Absences for More Than Three Days

    If your student will be absent for more than three days, a doctor's note is required. Additionally, if the absence is due to a family emergency or vacation exceeding three days, please complete the Pre-Arranged Absence form provided below.


    3. Pre-Arranged Absence Form

    To initiate a Pre-Arranged Absence, please complete the form below. 

    Note that this form must be submitted at least one week before the scheduled absence.

    2024-2025 School Calendar 

    Stay up-to-date with important dates, holidays, and school events by referring to our comprehensive school calendar. This calendar provides a clear overview of the academic year, helping parents and students plan accordingly.


    7-12 Bell Schedule 2023-2024

    View our daily bell schedule to ensure students arrive on time for classes and transitions. Familiarizing yourself with the bell schedule promotes punctuality and a smooth flow of activities throughout the school day.


    K-12 Scripture Memorization 2023-2024

    Encourage spiritual growth and development by participating in our scripture memorization program. This initiative cultivates a deeper understanding and appreciation for God's word, fostering a strong foundation of faith among our students.

  • DRESS CODE

    Dress Code is required Monday through Friday. Students not in dress code will be directed to the office to call their parents for appropriate clothing.


    Daily Attire: 

    Polo shirts in navy, gray, or white are permitted Monday through Friday. Students not in dress code will be directed to the office to call their parents for appropriate clothing.


    Friday Attire:

    On Fridays, students may wear a Christian T-shirt or spirit wear.


    Special Consideration:

    Juniors and Seniors are allowed to wear college apparel on Fridays.

  • LUNCH INFORMATION

    At Fairfield Christian School, our lunch program offers nutritious meals to fuel our students' learning journey. Each lunch costs $5.00 and includes an entree, two sides, a small dessert, and a choice of juice or water. For those with hearty appetites, adding an extra entree is available for an additional $2.00. Our lunch calendar is conveniently accessible through your ParentsWeb account on FACTS, allowing you to plan ahead. Please note that lunches are provided Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, students should bring a packed lunch if they will be staying for extended care.

    HOW TO ORDER LUNCH:

    Students can place their orders at the start of class when attendance is taken. In the event of a late arrival, students should inform the office to ensure their lunch order is placed. Please note that teachers, not students, are responsible for placing lunch orders through FACTS.


    HOW TO PAY FOR LUNCH:

    Maintaining a positive balance in your child's Prepay account is vital to ensure seamless lunch transactions and uninterrupted access to nutritious meals. Here's how you can add funds:


    1. Access FACTS Family Portal:

       Log in to the FACTS Family Portal using your credentials.


    2. Navigate to Financials:

       Once logged in, locate the Financials section on the left-hand side of the screen.


    3. Load Prepay Funds:

       Within the Financials section, select the option to load prepay funds.


    4. Follow the Prompts:

       Proceed to follow the prompts provided to complete the transaction and add funds to your Prepay account.


    Maintaining a positive balance in the Prepay account is crucial, as it ensures your child's access to hot lunches without any disruptions. This account is designated exclusively for lunch purchases and is separate from any other payment plans or billing balances.

  • Extended Care Services

    At Fairfield Christian School, we understand the need for flexibility in scheduling, which is why we offer Extended Care options outside of regular school hours. Here's what you need to know:


    Regular School Hours & Extended Care Options

    Tuition for K-12 covers students during the standard school hours of 8:20 am to 3:15 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8:20 am to 12:15 pm on Fridays. 


    For families requiring care outside of these hours, Extended Care services are available at an additional cost. Here are the details:


    Extended Care Cost:

    Extended Care is charged at $6.00 per hour, per student, invoiced in 15-minute increments.


    For the 2024-2025 school year, the rate for Extended Care will be $7.00 per hour, per student. 


    Late Pickup Fee:

    A late fee of $5.00 per minute will be applied for pickups after 6:00 pm.


    Invoicing and Payment: 

    Extended Care charges will be invoiced every two weeks through FACTS, and payment is due upon receipt.


    Extended Care Hours

    • Mornings 7:00am-8:05am | Monday-Friday
    • Afternoon 3:15pm-6:00pm | Monday-Thursday
    • Afternoon 12:15pm-6:00pm | Friday


    Please note that you can drop off your child as early as 8:05 am without using Extended Care services. 


    For families requiring care before or after regular school hours, our Extended Care program offers a safe and nurturing environment for students. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact the school office.
